RACE 1

9. No Need to Ask	Wheels back on short rest after tough outing versus the very talented Caprice; repeat of debut wins here for fun
3. Ran the Red	Trainer Rodriguez is 3-for-9 with 2yo debuting in maiden claiming company; half to one first-out winner
1. Estilo Unico	Solid debut try when showing good speed a half-step down

RACE 2

7. Kitty’s Pretty	Blinks on as she drops from facing much better; well drawn outside and could be poised to sit just off speed
5. On Another Level	Morning line fave had it all her own way to graduate two back; not sure she gets that trip here
1. Annieworkstoomuch	Good try versus similar in latest

RACE 3 – ON THE TURF

4. Reppazz	Good effort in first two-turn try on the lawn; could sit a good trip here
7. Tales to Tell	Runner-up in all three turf routes; two-back race produced a couple of next-out winners but runners from latest 0-for-7 in their follow-ups to date
9. Ennereilly	Tired when chasing a fast leader at Kentucky Downs last out; if drawing in, has a chance to outrun odds; connex haven’t lost faith
1. Urban Star	Excuses in first two and shifts into Robb barn

4. Inter Miami	Doesn’t have to have the lead but has the most early foot, an enviable position; recent form isn’t great, but return to best would do the trick
6. Magnificent Ride	Even effort against better in latest
7. Heartfullofstars	Owns best figs and likely to get bet heavily, but drop off the claim and win not a great sign

RACE 5 – ON THE TURF

10. Skipperini	Five wins already in ’24, four by less than a length, including two versus simillar
11. Fingal	Decent try versus allowance foes in latest on the flat in a race won by an $870k auction purchase
7. Wicked Finn	Just missed versus top choice three back and continues in good form
5. Sonic Speed	Trainer Delgado has won at a 22% clip first off the claim in the last five years but is just 2-for-24 the last two; protects in this spot

RACING NOTES

Veteran trainer Sam Cronk picked up his first win since 2022 in Friday’s second race when Boyd’s Band ($9.80), under jockey Felix Astudillo, just wore down favored Enzo to win a $25,000 maiden claimer. It was Cronk’s 22nd start of the year and his eighth in-the-money finish. Cronk, who won his first race in 1969, has more than 1,100 wins and over $11 million in career earnings…
Jockey Jaime Rodriguez won three more races Friday, including two for Jamie Ness. The Ness winners were 1-20 Paper Mansion and 1-9 Spikezone. Rodriguez also won aboard Sustenance ($6.40) for trainer Karla De Jesus.

RACE 6

7. Binnie	Dirt debut produced two next out winners, and latest outing on grass came versus a plus field; if she brings that form back to the main track, she wins here
8. Arch Street	Good try latest
4. No Chalk	Two race heater at Finger Lakes; in the triple five straight

RACE 7

6. River Dog	Could be speed of the speed and arrives off a strong outing versus N2X rivals at MTH
2. Excitable Boy	Last two main-track tries are excellent, including two-back runner-up try behind next-out stakes winner Sunny Breeze; if other pace rivals wear down the 6, this one’s most likely to win
3. Get Set	Just a couple races removed from efforts that win here

RACE 8

2. Secret Saturday	Switches barns after near-miss and gets bug rider Robles in the irons
5. Portis	Morning line fave stopped in last versus much better; drops to bottom and cuts back to one turn for the first time
7. Double Nickel	Should be running on late
