- Veteran trainer Sam Cronk picked up his first win since 2022 in Friday’s second race when Boyd’s Band ($9.80), under jockey Felix Astudillo, just wore down favored Enzo to win a $25,000 maiden claimer. It was Cronk’s 22nd start of the year and his eighth in-the-money finish. Cronk, who won his first race in 1969, has more than 1,100 wins and over $11 million in career earnings…
- Jockey Jaime Rodriguez won three more races Friday, including two for Jamie Ness. The Ness winners were 1-20 Paper Mansion and 1-9 Spikezone. Rodriguez also won aboard Sustenance ($6.40) for trainer Karla De Jesus.

RACE 7
| 6. River Dog | Could be speed of the speed and arrives off a strong outing versus N2X rivals at MTH |
