Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2yo sale: By the numbers

The rejiggered and delayed Fasig-Tipton Midlantic two-year-olds in training sale kicks off Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in Timonium.
In a change from prior years, it will be conducted in a single day. While the original plan followed prior years — a two-day sale Monday and Tuesday — rainy weather and issues with the racetrack at the Big T forced the company to move breezes back, in some cases to Monday, necessitating the change.
Last year’s similarly sized sale did nearly $35 million in business, and sales participants have said some very nice horses are on the grounds, so hopes are high.
