Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 230 entries for the main catalogue of the Midlantic December Mixed Sale, to be held on Tuesday, December 10 at the Maryland State Fair Grounds in Timonium, Maryland. The sale will begin at 10 am.
The main catalogue consists of broodmares, weanlings, and yearlings. The catalogue also includes the Dispersal of Joseph Besecker, which will consist of more than 100 entries spread between the main catalogue, and the horses of racing age supplement.
“This an exciting sale from a number of perspectives, including a strong nucleus of in foal mares and exciting sire power among the weanlings,” said Midlantic Director of Sales Paget Bennett. “The Besecker Dispersal adds another level of quality to this year’s sale and should prove an attractive draw to prospective buyers.”
The sale will also offer a Horses of Racing Age Supplement for the third year. Fasig-Tipton will continue to accept entries for the supplement through November 22.
“The Horses of Racing Age supplement has been a great addition to the sale, working well in our racing-rich Midlantic region,” continued Bennett. “We have over 100 entries for the supplement to date, including a large contingent from the Besecker Dispersal that are in good form and have a lot of racing opportunities ahead of them.”
The Midlantic December Mixed catalogue may now be viewed online and in the equineline sales catalogue app. Print catalogues are now available from all Fasig-Tipton offices.
