A severe storm couldn’t drive Colonial Downs off the turf, but it did seem to help closers, one of whom, Eons, set a course record in the Buckland Stakes.

Field Pass found a seam inside and squeezed through it to grab the win in Saturday’s Grade 3 Baltimore-Washington International Turf Cup at Pimlico.
