Art Collector is CT CLassic headliner

Grade 2 winner Art Collector, now under the care of trainer Bill Mott, headlines Friday’s Grade 2 Charles Town Classic.

Jockey Charlie Marquez earned the first riding title of his young career at the just-completed Pimlico meet.

The word was out on 2-year-old H P Moon, who went off at 2-5 in his debut and ran like it, winning off by almost 10 lengths at Pimlico.

Anna’s Bandit, an 11-time stakes winner who earned over $800,000, has been retired and will be bred next year, co-owner Gina Robb said.

Off to the Races Radio returns to the air August 21 focused on closing weekend at Pimlico, MATCH Series at Colonial, and Charles Town Classic.
