Triple Crown: No More Time speeds to Sam F. Davis win

No More Time moved into the upper echelon in Kentucky Derby points with a front-running score in Tampa Bay’s Sam F. Davis Stakes.

Mosler Time’s win in a maiden claimer Saturday at Laurel Park gave veteran trainer Cal Lynch 1,000 victories in his career.

The next stop on the road to the Triple Crown will be at Tampa Bay Downs in Saturday’s G3 Sam F. Davis Stakes, worth 20 points to the winner.

The Triple Crown nominations released earlier this week include a half-dozen horses bred in the Mid-Atlantic and a larger number based here.

Multiple graded stakes winner and near-millionaire Endorsed, a half to Cody’s Wish, will stand stud at Maryland’s Northview Stallion Station.
