Laurel Park will add 5 Virginia-bred stakes

Laurel Park announced today the addition of 10 stakes to the fall schedule: five for Virginia-breds, five for Maryland-breds.

The Maryland Horse Industry Foundation announced that it has awarded $29,000 in grants to nonprofits in the state in 2014.

This week’s NTRA Top Thoroughbred Poll saw virtually no change from last week.
